Dinner Party

I made this for a dinner party with friends in the old neighborhood:


Not sure why the photo is so blurry but you get the idea. Apples and frisee, spicy shrimp (sauté) and roasted butternut squash puree. I had never made it before and couldn't quite get my head around it but the combination was so compelling...

Everyone seemed to enjoy it and I particularly liked the puree - I made it a few nights before and kept having to taste test it :).

  1. This was delicious! I would have kept tasting it myself but we ate it all. Note to chef: next time make extra. :)
